Three Decades of Educational Excellence

St. Mary's School was established in 1996 as the foundation of our educational legacy in Chikmagalur. This marked the beginning of our commitment to providing quality education to the community.

Founded with a vision to create positive change through education, the school started as a small institution with big dreams and a dedicated team of educators.

In 1997, we expanded our offerings by establishing a state board school that provided education up to the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) level.

This expansion allowed us to serve more students in the community and provide a complete educational pathway from primary to secondary education.

St. Mary's International School was formed in 2007, affiliated to the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) board, bringing international standards of education to Chikmagalur.

Our commitment to academic excellence has been recognized nationally, with St. Mary's International School securing 3 ranks in the top 10 in India (ranks 4, 5, and 6) for outstanding academic achievements.

In 2015, St. Mary's started a Pre-University College (PUC) wing offering state board education for grades 11 and 12, providing a seamless transition from school to higher education.

This expansion allowed us to prepare students for professional courses and higher education opportunities while maintaining our commitment to academic excellence.

The Indian School Certificate (ISC) was formed in 2017, following the ISC syllabus with integrated coaching for JEE and NEET competitive exams.

Our program supports students in securing global scholarships at top universities worldwide, combining rigorous academics with comprehensive career preparation.

Marian Global School was established in 2023, affiliated to the Cambridge curriculum, bringing international education standards to Chikmagalur.

Currently offering classes up to Grade 4 in the academic year 2025-26, we plan to expand to Grade 5 in 2026-27, with a vision to gradually grow up to Grade 10, providing a complete international education pathway.
